Shannon Denise Santa Cruz-Roemmich, 42 years old of Bridgeport, WA. died in a car accident on Highway 97 North of Brewster on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. She was born in Fresno, CA in 1970 to Sandra and Calvin Roemmich. Their family moved to Ephrata where she attended school. Shannon settled down in Bridgeport to raise her own family. She was a supervisor Housekeeper for Sun Mountain Lodge. Shannon was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. A great friend to all and helped whenever she could. She loved Spanish music and loved to dance Spanish dances. Shannon was also very fluent in Spanish. Fishing was also something she loved to do even though she didn’t like to eat them. Other than housework, yard work, and taking care of the pets she visited her boyfriend Johnny in Umatilla, OR regularly. Shannon is survived by Mom Sandra Clark of Ephrata, WA; sons: Tony Santa Cruz and his daughter Simona of Wenatchee, WA; Juan Santa Cruz and his son James of Bridgeport, WA; Fernando (Julyanna) Santa Cruz and their daughter Melody of Wenatchee, WA; grandson Christian Santa Cruz of Bridgeport, WA; brother Mark (Sandi) Watson of Terre Haute, IN and their kids: Monika (Ross) Jones of Pullman, WA; and Kelsy Watson of Moses Lake, WA; sisters: Stephanie (Gabriel) Guzman and their children: Morena Cooper, Gabriel Guzman, Maria Diaz, Livi Guzman, and Naum Guzman of Grant County; Jeanne (Roland) Wynhoff and their kids: Kayla Horton, Andy Powell, and Michelle Powell of Connell, WA; stepsister Allyson (Ben) Alexander of Washougal, WA; stepbrothers: Tony Clark of Washougal, WA; and Ray Clark Jr. of Umatilla, OR; along with various nephews, nieces, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents See and Tony McCullough, grandparents Gwen Taylor and Carl Harp, Father Calvin Roemmich and Stepfather Ray Clark, Brother Casey Watson, Nephew Goldman Guzman, Nieces: Tara Wynhoff, Nikki Wynhoff, and Christa Watson. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christian Santa Cruz. Graveside services will be held at 2PM on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Valley View Memorial Park in Soap Lake.
