KATHLEEN ANN POTTER Kathleen “Kitti” Ann Potter, 63, of Ephrata, Washington, passed away at home on Thursday, October 27, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born to Norman and Mary Gendron in South Kingston, Rhode Island on October 6, 1953. Kitti earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. The last 12 years she worked as a substitute teacher in the Soap Lake School District. Those kids loved her, as she had been an instrumental piece in many of their futures. Some of the first kids she taught will now be graduating. Kitti loved grade school kids and teaching them. She was also a member of AA for 26 years. Kitti is preceded in death by her mother and father and her brother Norman Jr. She is survived by her husband Ron Potter of Ephrata, Wash.; her daughters, Christine Hunter of Spokane, Angel Behrens of Omak, Mary Potter of Ephrata; her sons, Michael Hunter of Ephrata, Steven Potter of Seattle, Ron Potter of Okanogan; her sisters, Terry Spry of Florida, JoAnn Gross of Connecticut, Dawne Funky of California; her brother Henry Ferguson of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and friends of Bill W. A memorial service is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ephrata.
