Marilyn A Wenz

Marilyn A. Wenz, 81, of Ephrata Washington, went to be with the Lord and her husband, Donald C. Wenz, on Wednesday April 20, 2022. She was born on February 21, 1941 to Art and Margaret Schaler in Puyallup, Washington. Marilyn was first and foremost a mother and a matriarch. She worked at Valley General Hospital in Monroe, Washington until 2003 when she retired and moved with many friends and family members to Ephrata. She loved camping with family and friends and watching her husband's band perform at local venues and bonfires. Her friends and family were the most important people in the world to her and she enjoyed having them around at every opportunity. She was a caregiver, through and through; committing her entire life to helping everyone around her. Marilyn enjoyed painting ceramics and tending her collection of plants. Marilyn is survived by her brothers Ken and Gary Schaler, and sister Margie Nelson; her daughters Judy Cloninger and Cheryl Roberts; her sons Mike, Brian and Ron Wenz; her late husband Don Wenz' children – Donnie, Donna and Echo. She leaves a legacy of 29 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and TWO great-great-grandchildren! Marilyn will be laid to rest by her husband at Valley View Memorial Park, Soap Lake, Wash. at a later date with family.
