Max Eric Neff
September 23, 2003 - December 22, 2021
Max Eric Neff, age 18, passed away in his home in Moses Lake, WA on December 22, 2021. He was born on September 23, 2003 at Mt Carmel Hospital in Colville, WA. He grew up in Stevens Co with his parents Erik and Jenn Neff along with his two sisters, Sarah and Samantha. He was a very imaginative and creative boy with a passionate love of trucks. He would dream of someday becoming a truck driver like his mom and dad. He would tell stories of the adventures of being on the road, traveling the country in his rig to anyone who would lend an ear. He would spend hours building Legos or re-engineering his toys to fuel his passion. Max also loved the outdoors. He loved hiking, camping and just playing in the mud. Max was also very intuitive and logically mature for his age. He loved to question his Sunday School teachers and participate in bible quizzing and youth camps. He was baptized in September 2010 at family camp at the annual river baptism service along with his sister Sarah. Max loved his sisters and the job of watching out for his younger sister, Sam. He took that job very seriously! In January of 2017, the family relocated to Moses Lake, WA. He continued to be well liked and loved by all who knew him. He was a natural leader among his friends. He was funny and had the ability to make people laugh. He loved spicy foods, rap music and classic rock. He was not a fan of his mother’s country music. Max was preceded in death by his sister Sarah Winter and close friend George Glascock. He is survived by his parents, Erik and Jenn, sister Samantha, nephew Daryll, grandparents John and Faye, Cori and Paul.
