    Tracy Martin Loeffelbein

    July 4, 1966 - June 30, 2021

Tracy Martin Loeffelbein, 54, of Ephrata, Washington, went to heaven to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.He was born in Ephrata on July 4, 1966 to Wilfred and Lois Loeffelbein, the oldest of five children. Tracy suffered a severe illness at 18-months-old and was left with permanent brain damage. He spent his entire life in Ephrata. While attending high school Tracy worked at the Senior Center helping with dishes and serving food. Staff and residents called him ‘speedball’ because he was fast with his duties. At home he was called ‘muscle man’ because he had the strength of two grown men. In 1987 at the age of 21 Tracy graduated from Ephrata High School. His favorite food was pizza – especially pizza from Chico’s Pizza Parlor in Moses Lake. He would work to earn money then set a date for the entire family to go with him to have pizza at Chico’s. Tracy also enjoyed baking cookies, making hook rugs, and good old-fashioned puzzles. He was always willing to help, which he did throughout his life at the family farm in Ephrata – from raising pigs to picking rocks, he was a part of it all. Tracy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tobias and Johanna Loeffelbein; his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Goldie Schlicker; and his cousin, Todd Lolkus. He is survived by his parents, Wilfred and Lois Loeffelbein; three sisters, Stacie (Kevin) Dunagan of Ephrata, Kerry (Scott) Cook of Ephrata, Candy (Fred) Anderson of Spokane; one brother, Casey Loeffelbein of Ephrata; his nieces and nephews; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. His smile will forever be missed. Tracy, we will see you in heaven when it is our turn. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Bread of Life Ministry, 140 14th Ave. NW in Ephrata. Please express your thoughts and memories for the family at www.nicolesfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the care of Nicoles Funeral Home in Ephrata, Wash
