Kristi Kelli Goodman 1967 – 2022 Kristi passed away peacefully Wednesday October 12th in the arms of her beloved Husband Ron. Kristi was born on October 23rd, 1967 in Rockford Illinois to Edward Vanatta and Virginia Stafford. At 15 years old Kristi and Ron locked eyes and it truly was love at first sight. 3 years later in April of 1986 they were married and vowed to love and cherish each other for better or worse, richer or poorer and in sickness and in health. Kristi spent her life completely devoted to her family. Not only was she MOM to her own 3 children, she became mom to every child that walked into her home. With a heart as big as Heaven and made of gold she loved so unconditionally, so you can imagine her excitement when she became a grandma! Of course, with the role of Grandma she became Grandma to many others as well. Kristi and Ron absolutely loved when all of their children and grandchildren would come to visit, the house was full of love and laughter. Kristi loved to crawl onto Ron’s lap with a bag full of her and her grandbabies favorite snacks and watch movies. Kristi got so much joy out of just being able to spend her day with Ron whether it be going out on a date or a simple day spent with him in his garage listening to music while reminiscing of their younger years. With spending over 3 whole decades together the love that still sparkled in their eyes as they gazed at each other was such an inspiration to everyone around them. Kristi and Ron always left each other notes to find throughout their house either on paper or on a mirror, it was always the same phrase every single time “FOREVER AND EVER BABE”. Kristi will always be remembered as an Incredible Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend the love she shared will never be forgotten. Kristi is survived by her Husband Ron Goodman of Soap Lake. Her daughter’s Erin Torres of Ephrata, Kourtnie (Samuel) Suarez of Othello and her Son Dalton (Rosa) Goodman of Othello. Her grandchildren Ginger, Trinity, Peyton, Sophia, KJ, Ronnie, Dalton, Skylar, Julissa and Roman. Her sister’s Jennifer Vanatta of Yakima and Cheryl (Doran) Dimitrov of Yakima. Her brother Robert (summer) Vanatta of Welch Oklahoma, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Kristi was preceded in death by her father Edward Vanatta, Her mother Virginia McBride, her father-in-law Neil Goodman and mother-in-law Marlene Goodman, her nephew’s Zachary and Justin, and her niece Eleahgrey.
